Micah absolutely loves being a Cub Scout! He went bowling tonight with his den, and is just one of the boys there. He does tend to take his kerchief off, but he did put it back on. His fellow scouts were great about helping him and making sure he knew when it was his turn. I am very thankful Micah has this group to take part in, since he is so happy to put on his uniform, grab his "wolf book" and head off to a den meeting!
This photo is not the best since I had to use my cell phone, which is from the dark ages of technology. Trust me, he is the most adorable scout ever!

I'm so pleased Micah enjoys Club Scout and that the children are kind to him and include him in the group!
Your blog looks very interesting. I am currently looking up about Down Syndrome for my TAFE assignment and found your blog through your article on Creation Ministries. I live in Queensland Australia and I'm studying my Diploma in Children's Services (Early Education and Care).
Wow, I don't know how you manage to homeschool so many children and with special needs! But I guess other people say that of Mom who homeschools the rest of us (I'm finished school) and I've got 5 brothers and 2 sisters. I guess also some of us have or have had special/additional needs but maybe just of a different kind to Down Syndrome (Asperger, Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified, Dispraxia and ADD). My Mom's blog is http://tarryhome.blogspot.com/
I commented on your daughter's blog post but suggested that you might want to look at my blog before she reads it as I know Mom prefers only my oldest siblings to read my blog because some of the topics I discuss are a bit heavy for younger children.
Thanks for blessing me through your family story!
May God bless,
Jessica

This is a prayer group for a children's home in Barcelona township, South Africa (as they do not have the website up yet we are just using facebook until the website is completed). Anyone who is interested in the plight of orphans and wants to pray for these children is free to join although I don't let anyone join who is not interested in being updated on how the children are doing.
P.S. If you want to know a bit more what kind of person I'm like this is what Mom wrote for my birthday
