Old Sturbridge Village
Today all of us but Nikita went to Old Sturbridge Village. It portrays life in 1830, and they were doing sugaring demonstrations this weekend. We also enjoy visiting in March because of all the newborn lambs!
Wow, those photos bring back memories! I lived in Franklin, Massachusetts until I was 7 and visited there several times before moving down here. I haven't been back to MA since then, but I still remember some things from your photos! Looks like fun, thanks for sharing :)
Hi- I am a fellow state mate. We did the maple syrup thing when we were kids! It is fun! Let me know if you ever head to the berkshires, would love to treat you to a cup of tea. Great blog..just extending a hand in friendship. ellen
We are the Lindsay family and we hope you enjoy our blog...follow along as we strive daily to follow the Lord's will.
"He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8
"Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy" Psalm 82:3,4a
"Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widow in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." James 1:27
"...learn to do right! Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow." Isaiah 1:17
"I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, who summons you by name." Isaiah 45:3
We are a family blessed with nine children. Four of our blessings were born to us, and five joined us through adoption. They have Down Syndrome and are such a blessing to us and everyone who knows them!
Jamie and I have been married 20 years. He is a high school teacher, and I stay home to school the children.
We are now seeking to live together in a way that is pleasing to Jesus as our family encounters new challenges and embraces what each day brings.
